What I have learned in my Thirty Years of Ministry

1992 - We don’t need more professional Christians. We need more Christian professionals.


1993 - There are no loopholes into Heaven. Stop looking for them.


1994 - Not every “Christian” is a Christian.


1995 - Power produces petty people.


1996 - We win ‘em to what we win ‘em with.


1997 - Until I am empty of me He cannot fill me.


1998 - Do little things with big Love - Mother Theresa


1999 - I was not created to be you.


2000 - God is not the God of chaos, but of Peace.


2001 - You are going to look stupid anyway, so you might as well dance.


2002 - When a church acts as a business, Jesus will flip over the tables on his way out.


2003 - If you think you will save them, then you haven’t met God’s son.


2004 - If you are eating a sandwich, no one else can eat it. Stop feeding yourself and start nourishing others.


2005 - Jesus never comes as we expect, so why do try to be what others expect us to be.


2006 - It is never about me.


2007 - It’s God’s dance, so get out of the way and watch Him groove


2008 - My job is not to change the world, but to reflect God’s light into dark places.


2009 - If we are not part of the solution, then we are part of the problem.


2010 - People always expect the worst from you. Prove them wrong.


2011 - Without Jesus, there is no rest.


2012 - Not everyone wants to see you succeed.


2013 - You cannot help a drowning person if you are drowning yourself.


2014 - Until our personal bubble bursts, we cannot truly appreciate life.


2015 - We all lose when we lose one.


2016 - God loves us too much to let us stay the way we are.


2017 - Flocks of fools believe that they are wise.


2018 - No matter how high I can jump, i will never touch the moon. It is useless to worry about things I cannot control.


2019 - Until a seed dies, it cannot grow. Until I embrace my own mortality, I cannot live.


2020 - When you justify your own opinions - facts are bendable, truth is smoke, and nothing is real.


2021 - If you are walking through hell - keep walking. — Winston Churchill


2022 - Listen for the heartbeat of Jesus and when you hear it. Dance!
